3 reasons to catch up '300'

I haven't yet, but there are three reasons to watch this war epic - titled '300'.
  1. It's apparently en route to break North American Box Office opening records (BBC news) - which is how I came to know about it.
  2. Iran condemns this 'war epic'. So there's gotta be something good about it. :)
  3. And here's the ace - this is from Frank Miller (of Sin City fame, to the uninitiated). And its already topping the IMDB charts.
Enjoy the trailer.

Go catch it folks, and let me know if there's a download link around! [Don't bother about industry revenue falling et al. We'll catch up in the theatre too!]

Hey Govar,

You're just a little late to catch on to the 300 bandwagon man. Aren't you keeping up with the movies scene nowadays?

BTW, I haven't seen the movie yet, but the trailer looks awesome and all the reviews of this movie seem to suggest that this is quite revolutionary, simply in terms of the way it was made. The extensive use of CGI, the handling of the theme, plus the Frank Miller angle, all of these make it imperative that we add this movie to our respective collections.

PS: Am on my way to National Market today to see if a Master Print has already arrived to Bangalore.

Cheers...........Jam

You make me feel bad. I'm certainly not up to date in the movie scene... just don't know how bad I am!

Hey Govar,

Just to rub it in a little more, I ve pretty much finished up this year's Oscar nomination list (except for The Queen and The Last King of Scotland).

Dude, I m surprised The Departed actually beat Pan's Labyrinth to the actual award itself.

The next few days I m planning to write reviews of The Pursuit of Happyness, Pan's Labyrinth, and man, another awesome movie which I just finished, Pachchaikili Muthusaram.

Gautam Menon once again proves why he is the future of South Indian cinema.

For more keep visiting my blog.

Cheers.........Jam

I watched this movie on Sunday. Have just finished writing a review on it too. Just one tip, if you're going to download, wait for the DVD rip. Don't even think of downloading a cam version. That would be sacrilege.

Watched the movie a couple of days ago. Sincere recommendation: DO NOT watch it on anything less than the big screen.

I found that the movie was an experience in itself. Hope you find it the same way. :)
