Donate rice playing a word game!
This is real interesting - a cute example of an amazing thought process.For donating rice to poor nations, all you have to do is to play the word game in the website Free Rice. For every correct answer scored, the website donates 10 grains of rice to world's poorest nations.
FreeRice has already donated 1 billion grains of rice in 2 months.
You get to play vocab games (and some of us do that often) and you automatically donate rice.
The revenue concept is simple and sparkling in its sheer brilliance. The website uses advertisement revenue to pay for the rice, and the more the number of people who visit the site, better the ad revenue. I don't want to hazard a guess as to the possibility of ad tariff increase and its ceiling value as the traffic increases, but this is surely a brilliant thought.

But do u think donation as the best form of help to poor nations.. Rather than it, don't think creating a job for the person would provide him with better help.. But if you analyze properly, a lot of times we would find out that donation rather than helping them and have wrecked the whole economy of the nation..
Robin: Agreed. But the real point here is not about helping poor nations, which could be done in multiple ways including reducing import tariffs in developed nations, providing subsidies etc which ultimately builds the economies of such countries. But the point here is that you anyway play word games online, why not donate something side by side? It could be very useful for people preparing for GRE/CAT.
